Good Shepherd Shelter. Now serving the community for over a century, we have a long history that reflects the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, their dedication to support women and children and our mission to end the cycle of domestic violence. Our services are very unique. Being the first domestic violence shelter to open in Los Angeles, we are the pioneers and experts in providing services for battered women and children, where the whole family is our focus and priority. We’re expanding our program for the first time in forty years.

We’re planting seeds for our future to grow in our school and our residential program. We’re looking for everyone to send out the word about this exciting new growth that we are experiencing.
